Known as "SBS Feast", the magazine will go on sale on Monday August 1 backed by a marketing campaign worth $1 million, including the distribution of a sampler edition of the magazine to 150 boutique grocers, delicatessens and specialty stores across Australia.
Dan Peterson has been appointed Art Director. His previous experience includes design on Monument, delicious and Qantas Magazine, as well as the launch of BBC Good Food and relaunch of Vogue Entertaining + Travel.
Selma Nadarajah joins the magazine in the position of deputy editor, with experience on delicious, Vogue Entertaining + Travel and MasterChef magazine behind her.
Other editorial appointments include designer Katherine Cordwell, sub-editor Jannah Kelly, and Rachel Bartholomeusz, who has been appointed editorial assistant.
Pacific Magazines has announced the magazine will retail for $6.50 in supermarkets, newsagents and other retail outlets from next Monday.
