GWAS Notes: Postbox gratification

Some days the postbox is filled with discontentment (bills, bills, reminder notice, bills); some days it is filled with delight. Today's parcels include an invitation to my niece's baptism, a selection of '50 Popular Penguin' titles (I plan to devour Lindsay's Picnic at Hanging Rock and Woolf's A Room of One's Own en route to Sydney for said baptism) and a new edition of Frankie, which is celebrating 30 issues in print (woohoo!).

Yours truly,
Girl With a Satchel

It's great to receive mail that isn't related to the bank! That's why I sometimes surprise my friends by sending them handwritten letters. Sadly I don't get many replies in the same manner!

(Erica, isn't it a bit risky showing your home address on the site?!)

I love those penguin books!
Perhaps you could give us a little run-down of your favourites as future purchase inspiration for clueless readers such as myself?

Ahhh, I've been waiting for the new Frankie to appear on your blog! It's been too long. Looking forward to reading what you think of it. And Yen must be coming out this week too, can't wait for that either.

I've only just discovered Frankie - can't believe I ever lived without it!
