And that we can be friends with our Saviour? A friend who we can shares our joys and sorrows with? One who will never, EVER let us down? Beautiful. And a real blessing.

Happy belated Valentine's Day, Erica. Delighted to hear you are enjoying his company.

Cheers,
EricaErica Bartle (nee Holburn)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03115131016810116605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2042413869472011551.post-78342044356582663162012-02-14T23:12:00.172+11:002012-02-14T23:12:00.172+11:00wow... I have recently started immersing myself in God and I love how intimate He is when you seek Him with all your heart. At times I have to consciously tell myself to stop worrying about what the world thinks and just focus on Him. In those moments I feel His joy :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2042413869472011551.post-13926668546005611432012-02-14T20:35:20.609+11:002012-02-14T20:35:20.609+11:00I am not a Christian, anymore. And yes i was in the trenches of it: bible study, youth group, etc.

I don't believe my parents are going to hell, I don't believe God frowns upon gays, I have watched numerous 21 year olds getting married so that they can have sex, sure they're into each other but pushing this no sex before marriage archaic rubbish is amazing, I don't believe we should be pummled with the belief we are dirty sinners in need of saving.

Also the feminist dig was a friendly reminder on why I'm not involved with religion anymore. I've always enjoyed your blog Erica but I'm not keen on being told that God is inconvenient and that's not why I'm not a Christian. I don't wake up wishing that a *christian* God is missing from my life. I simply realised each religion thinks their way is the right way, and isn't that all a bit strange?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
